In June 2024, YouTube emerged as the most visited website in , recording a staggering 3.7 million visits, according to data from AHREFS. This trend underscores the platform’s dominance in the country’s online landscape, driven by its vast array of video content.

Following YouTube, Wikipedia and Facebook secured the second and third spots with 2.6 million and 1.9 million visits, respectively. These sites continue to be go-to sources for information and social interaction among Ghanaians.

Sports betting and local news also saw significant online engagement. SportyBet, a popular betting platform, attracted 1.8 million visits, while GhanaWeb, a leading news site, recorded 1.4 million visits.
