Mahama invites investors to use Ghana as strategic gateway to Africa

President John Dramani Mahama has called on global investors to consider Ghana as a strategic hub for doing business across Africa.

Speaking at the opening of the Africa Singapore Business Forum (ASBF) in Singapore, President Mahama stressed that “Africa is investable and Ghana is your strategic gateway to the continent,” assuring participants that the country offers a trusted starting point for expansion across Africa.

He further reiterated his administration’s commitment to building a business-friendly environment, highlighting the conclusion of a Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) with Singapore as a key step toward deepening investor confidence.

Singapore’s Minister for Environment and Sustainability, and Minister in charge of Trade, Grace Fu, welcomed the initiative, describing the BIT as an important milestone for a deeper and more sustainable economic partnership between the two nations.
