The Government of Ghana has announced its partnership with seven industry players on a new shared infrastructure to deliver affordable 5G mobile broadband services across Ghana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Les sept partenaires sont Ascend Digital, K-NET, Radisys, Nokia et Tech Mahindra, ainsi que deux op\u00e9rateurs de t\u00e9l\u00e9communications : AT Ghana et Telecel Ghana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The partners have established the Next-Gen Infrastructure Company (NGIC), which has been awarded a 5G license and is expected to launch 5G services across Ghana within the next six months, followed by expansion to other parts of Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership aims to enhance the lives of Ghanaians by introducing digital services in education, healthcare, and digital payment transactions through P2P (peer-to-peer), P2M (peer-to-merchant) and M2M (merchant-to-merchant) systems, thereby reducing -digital divide and promoting financial inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Par ailleurs, ce partenariat dans le domaine du multijoueur permettra \u00e0 NGIC de mener \u00e0 bien le d\u00e9ploiement complet de l'infrastructure r\u00e9seau et des services associ\u00e9s, alors que les fournisseurs de services de communication (CSP) cherchent \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des march\u00e9s des entreprises et des particuliers avec des services num\u00e9riques am\u00e9lior\u00e9s. Pour y parvenir, Tech Mahindra mettra en place un r\u00e9seau central \u00ab cloud native \u00bb s'appuyant sur les plateformes des principaux \u00e9quipementiers (OEM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
